The Sedona Entrepreneurial Artist Development Program (SEAD) is a 2-day intensive opportunity that empowers visual artists to view their creative practice through an entrepreneurial lens. This curriculum explores tools to organize, plan, and sustain a creative career, with the goal of developing a personalized business plan to help each artist take their work to the next level.
Participants will learn about strategic planning, crafting an artist statement, building a professional resume and bio, marketing, accounting, and more. Artists who successfully complete the program and submit an accepted strategic plan within one year will be eligible to apply for a $500 grant to support implementation.
The SEAD Program was developed by Sedona Arts Center (SAC).
